KEBA TM240/A is a 6-channel temperature measurement expansion module of KEBA KeConnect and Kemro K2 series, widely used on ENGEL hydraulic injection molding machines and die-casting automation equipment. It collects temperature signals from barrel thermocouples and resistance temperature sensors, feeds accurate temperature readings back to the master CPU, and supports heating zone closed-loop adjustment for plastic melting and molding processes. It can detect temperature changes of injection barrel, nozzle and mold, which is essential to keep plastic material viscosity stable and guarantee finished product quality.

This module connects to the rack backplane via proprietary Kemro K-Bus. It supports multiple common temperature sensor types, and each channel has independent sensor breakage diagnosis. When a sensor wire is broken or short-circuited, the module will send alarm signals immediately without affecting the measurement of other channels. LED indicators on the front panel display real-time signal status, helping maintenance staff find faulty sensors quickly on site.

Engineers can set sensor type and filtering parameters in KEBA engineering software, and match it freely with CPU, digital I/O modules and communication boards in the same control rack. Built-in signal filtering circuit suppresses interference noise generated by hydraulic pumps and contactor switching.
