KEBA PS242 is an upgraded rack power supply module for KEBA Kemro K2 control platform, widely used on ENGEL hydraulic injection molding machines and die-casting automation equipment. Compared with PS240, this version improves output stability and internal overload response speed, and it can supply power for racks with more expansion modules including multi-channel temperature boards and high-point I/O boards. It converts input voltage into stable working power and distributes power to the backplane bus for all rack-mounted control units.

This module supplies clean power to master CPU, digital input modules, digital output modules and communication adapters. Built-in inrush current limiting circuit suppresses surge current during power on, protecting sensitive core control boards. It continuously monitors output voltage, load current and internal temperature. When overcurrent, undervoltage or overheating is detected, it will cut off output quickly and send alarm signal to the master controller to avoid cascading damage to other expensive modules on the rack.

Clear LED status indicators are set on the front panel to display power ready status and fault warning, helping maintenance staff judge power health rapidly on site. Engineers can view power fault records on the HMI. The PCB adopts conformal coating treatment, with good shock resistance and EMC performance, adapting to dusty and oil mist environment in plastic molding workshops.

It adopts standard rack plug-in installation structure and matches Kemro K2-200 / K2-400 backplane rack.
