KEBA DO470/B is a high-density galvanically isolated digital output expansion module of KEBA Kemro K2 and KeControl platform, widely matched with high-end ENGEL injection molding machines and die-casting automation equipment. It is the revised B variant of DO470 series, designed for projects requiring a large quantity of switching output points, suitable for multi-zone heating control systems and machines with abundant hydraulic auxiliary axes. It receives logic commands from the master CPU and converts these instructions into stable switching signals to drive solenoid valves, contactors, solid state relays and local indicator lamps.

This module communicates with the rack master CPU via proprietary Kemro K-Bus backplane. It processes sequence signals for clamping, injection, holding pressure, plasticizing and ejection cycles. Each output channel adopts independent galvanic isolation design to suppress electromagnetic interference generated by hydraulic pumps and high-power coils. Every channel integrates overcurrent and short-circuit protection; when a single channel fails, only the faulty channel will be locked, and the rest of the output points remain operational. The front panel is equipped with clear LED indicators for each channel status, which helps maintenance engineers quickly check signal status and locate faults on site.

Engineers can configure channel mapping and assign signal addresses through KEBA engineering software to fit different machine control logic. Built-in bus watchdog and hardware state monitoring circuit continuously track bus data frames and internal working temperature. When communication interruption, undervoltage or hardware defect is detected, it will upload alarm messages to the controller and show warnings on the HMI to prevent unexpected mold movements and equipment damage. The PCB circuit is coated with conformal coating, featuring reliable shock resistance and EMC immunity, suitable for dusty and oil mist plastic molding workshop environment.

It adopts standard rack plug-in installation structure and matches Kemro K2-200 / K2-400 backplane system. This DO470/B model has been discontinued by KEBA factory, and it is supplied in the aftermarket as a high-point-count replacement spare part for legacy ENGEL injection molding machines. Technicians can replace the faulty module safely after power cut without modifying the original field wiring and control program.
