KEBA PS240 is a rack power supply module designed for KEBA Kemro K2 control platform, widely used on classic ENGEL hydraulic injection molding machines and die-casting equipment. It supplies stable 24VDC working power to the whole backplane bus and all rack-mounted modules including CPU units, I/O expansion boards, temperature measurement modules and communication adapters. As the power foundation of the control rack, it directly determines the stable operation of the entire injection molding control system.

This module converts the on-site AC input voltage into regulated, low-ripple 24VDC output for the Kemro K-Bus backplane. It has built-in inrush current limiting circuit to suppress the instantaneous impact current when the control rack is powered on, avoiding damage to sensitive CPU and signal boards. It carries continuous output voltage monitoring and overload protection. If overcurrent, undervoltage or overheating is detected, it will cut off the output rapidly and send alarm signals to the master controller to prevent secondary damage to other expensive modules on the rack.

Status LED indicators are arranged on the front panel, showing power ready state, fault alarm and output status for maintenance technicians to quickly judge power supply health. Engineers can check power status records and fault logs on the HMI. The PCB adopts conformal coating treatment, with good shock resistance and EMC immunity, adapting to the dusty and oil-filled environment of plastic molding workshops.

It adopts standard rack plug-in installation structure and matches Kemro K2-200 / K2-400 backplane rack. This KEBA PS240 has been discontinued by the manufacturer, and it is supplied in the aftermarket as a core replacement spare part for legacy ENGEL injection molding machines.
