KEBA RS-091/A is a revised rack plug-in power supply module of KEBA Kemro KePlast series, the suffix /A stands for its updated hardware revision compared with standard RS-091. It is widely used on old ENGEL hydraulic injection molding control racks, converting AC input into stable 24VDC logic power and auxiliary reference voltage for CPU, I/O boards, hydraulic regulation modules and communication adapters.

This module receives AC input voltage, and adopts internal isolation and voltage stabilization circuit to output clean DC power for the whole rack. It supplies power for main controller operation, digital input signal acquisition and proportional valve drive circuits. Independent branch fuses are arranged inside. When short-circuit or overload occurs on one branch, the faulty channel will be isolated separately to avoid total power failure of the control rack.

It adopts proprietary Kemro backplane connection and matches legacy KePlast rack housing. Power status indicator lights are arranged on the front panel for technicians to judge power state quickly. It integrates overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit and overtemperature multi-protection mechanism. Once abnormal load or excessive internal temperature is detected, it will lock fault state and cut off output to protect expensive control boards and hydraulic components. The circuit board is coated with conformal coating, improving vibration resistance and EMC performance to adapt to dusty and high electromagnetic interference workshop environment.

KEBA has discontinued this hardware version, and it is mainly circulated as maintenance spare part for vintage ENGEL injection machines. After safe power-off, technicians can replace this module directly without modifying the original wiring and other rack modules to restore the control system.

It is a scarce replacement spare part demanded in plastic machinery maintenance industry. It provides stable power foundation for legacy KePlast control system.
