KEBA KEMRO-K2-400 is a high-performance modular rack control platform belonging to KEBA Kemro K2 series, serving as the core control hardware framework of KePlast injection molding systems and widely equipped on mid-to-high grade ENGEL injection molding machines. It adopts upgraded backplane bus architecture compared with K2-200 version, supporting more plug-in functional modules and higher real-time calculation bandwidth for complex multi-axis interpolation and hydraulic closed-loop regulation tasks.

This platform provides multiple expansion slots for installing CPU modules, digital input and output modules, analog acquisition boards, communication interface cards and HRS hydraulic regulation modules. The proprietary high-speed K-Bus backplane realizes synchronous data transmission between the main controller and each slave module. The main CPU sends injection speed, holding pressure and ejection motion commands through the backplane, while each feedback module uploads pressure, displacement, limit status and fault information back to the controller to complete closed-loop adjustment of the whole molding cycle. It supports advanced molding processes such as multi-cavity synchronization and thin-wall injection.

It is equipped with abundant extended communication resources, supporting Ethernet, CAN bus and serial interfaces to connect operator panels, distributed field stations and upper MES production management systems. Engineers can complete module address allocation, signal mapping, safety interlock configuration and recipe parameter setting via KEBA engineering software. The built-in bus watchdog and power supply monitoring circuit continuously verify data frames and power load status. When communication failure, undervoltage or module abnormality is detected, it will trigger safety stop and alarm feedback to avoid mold collision and mechanical damage.

The whole rack adopts IP20 protection grade for cabinet installation. The backplane and terminal circuit are coated with conformal coating, with excellent vibration resistance and EMC performance, adapting to dusty and strong electromagnetic interference plastic workshop environment. The modular design supports single board replacement without changing the whole rack and original wiring, which greatly reduces maintenance cost and production downtime.
