KEBA K2-400 is a modular rack-based control platform under KEBA Kemro series, widely adopted as the core control system framework for ENGEL injection molding machines and hydraulic servo plastic machinery. It serves as the carrier for CPU modules, I/O boards, communication adapters and hydraulic regulation modules, supporting flexible hardware combination according to different machine configuration requirements.

This platform uses a high-speed internal backplane bus to realize high-speed data exchange between the main CPU and all plug-in slave modules. It can match digital input modules, digital output modules, analog acquisition boards, communication interface cards and HRS hydraulic regulation modules, completing signal collection, logic operation, closed-loop motion control and proportional valve driving tasks for injection, holding pressure, plasticizing and ejection sequences. It supports multi-axis synchronous interpolation control for complex multi-cavity molding and high-precision hydraulic processes.

It reserves multiple communication expansion slots and supports CAN bus, serial and Ethernet interfaces to connect with operator panels, distributed field stations and upper monitoring systems. Engineers can configure hardware mapping, assign axis parameters and set safety interlock logic via KEBA engineering software. The backplane carries independent power distribution and signal bus lines to provide stable power supply and reliable data handshake for all inserted modules.

It is equipped with built-in bus monitoring and power supply fault detection circuit. Once backplane communication error, undervoltage or overload is detected, it will feed back alarm signals to the main controller and trigger safety stop instructions to avoid abnormal actions of hydraulic actuators and protect molds and mechanical structures. The whole rack adopts IP20 protection grade.

It adopts standard cabinet rack installation structure, the circuit backplane is processed with conformal coating, featuring good vibration resistance and EMC performance, adapting to the dusty and high electromagnetic interference environment of plastic workshops. Users can add or replace individual functional modules without replacing the whole rack, which reduces the spare part cost and maintenance workload greatly.
