KEBA IP706 is a compact integrated PLC controller belonging to KEBA KeControl P70 series, widely used on injection molding machines, blow molding machinery and packaging automation equipment. It integrates main processing unit, local I/O channels and communication ports in one compact housing, supporting IEC 61131-3 CODESYS programming and real-time motion control tasks.

This unit comes with built-in digital input and digital output channels for collecting 24VDC signals from safety switches and limit sensors. It supports CANopen and Ethernet communication to connect with servo drives, HMI panels and upper monitoring systems. It can execute local sequence logic independently and handle multi-axis interpolation control for small and medium hydraulic or all-electric molding machines. The front panel reaches IP65 protection grade while the wiring side keeps IP20, suitable for direct installation on machine body without putting inside control cabinet.

It runs real-time Linux RTOS, offering stable cycle processing for molding sequence, pressure closed-loop regulation and safety interlock management. Operators can download programs, adjust machine parameters and check fault records via KEBA engineering software. The on-board memory stores recipe data and configuration parameters after power loss.

It has built-in watchdog and multi-level hardware self-diagnosis. It continuously monitors communication handshake status, output load condition and internal temperature. If short-circuit, signal loss or overtemperature is detected, it will trigger alarm and cut off drive output to protect mechanical structure and actuators. The circuit board adopts conformal coating, with good shock resistance and EMC performance to adapt to dusty workshop environment.

It adopts DIN rail mounting structure for flexible installation. It is widely used for new machine matching, old equipment renovation and spare parts replacement of KEBA automation systems. It is a space-saving compact control solution for plastic processing machinery.
