Product Details:
KEBA E-CPU-186B, part code D1633C-1, is a discontinued rack-mounted main CPU board of KEBA early KePlast control system, widely used on classic ENGEL injection molding machines. It serves as the core processing unit for PLC logic execution, hydraulic sequence control, safety interlock judgment and local recipe storage of the whole machine.
This board collects 24VDC digital signals from safety limit switches, door interlock sensors and proximity detectors, and receives analog feedback signals from pressure and displacement transducers. It runs fixed injection molding cycle logic and outputs control signals to matching KEBA I/O modules and hydraulic proportional valves, completing clamping, injection, holding pressure, plasticizing and ejection sequence actions. It adopts stable mature hardware architecture for low-speed hydraulic molding processes.
It is equipped with proprietary backplane bus and serial communication ports to exchange data with supporting I/O boards and operator panels. Local non-volatile memory saves machine configuration parameters, molding recipes and historical fault records. Maintenance technicians can use the matched old KEBA programming software to back up, restore and adjust machine parameters for debugging and spare replacement.
It integrates watchdog circuit and basic hardware self-diagnosis function. It keeps detecting bus communication connection status and internal operating state. If communication timeout or hardware failure occurs, it will trigger alarm signal and cut off control output to prevent mold collision and mechanical damage. The circuit board is coated with conformal coating, improving vibration resistance and EMC performance for dusty plastic workshop environment.
It is plug-in rack installation and needs to work with the matched old-version backplane and peripheral I/O modules. This model has been discontinued by KEBA, mainly supplied as maintenance spare parts for legacy ENGEL injection machines. Direct replacement can restore the control system without modifying the original wiring and peripheral hardware.
It is a common hard-to-source spare part for European old injection molding machines equipped with KEBA control systems, widely used in equipment overhaul, control cabinet renovation and fault repair projects. It is a reliable legacy core control solution for hydraulic injection molding equipment.
Key specifications:KEBA E-CPU-186B main CPU board,24VDC rated supply, proprietary backplane and serial interface, rack plug-in mounting. Operating temperature range: 0°C to +55°C. It supports program upload/download, continuity check, communication handshake test and signal channel simulation verification during maintenance.
This E-CPU-186B CPU board cooperates with KEBA I/O modules and hydraulic actuators to run the complete old KePlast injection molding control system, ensuring stable and repeatable molding cycles for legacy ENGEL machinery.
