KEBA CU211 is a master CPU controller module belonging to KEBA Kemro K2 series and KePlast platform, widely used on mid-generation ENGEL hydraulic injection molding machines and die-casting automation equipment. It is the core arithmetic and logic processing unit of the modular control rack, responsible for executing molding sequence programs, closed-loop hydraulic regulation calculation, safety interlock judgment and data communication management for all slave modules on the backplane.

This module connects with all functional boards including I/O modules, temperature control boards, hydraulic regulation modules and bus adapters through the proprietary Kemro K-Bus backplane. It receives real-time feedback signals from pressure sensors, displacement transducers and safety limit switches, calculates the target value and feedback deviation of injection speed, holding pressure and ejection action, and sends command instructions to proportional valve drive boards and digital output modules. It supports multi-axis sequential coordination and holding pressure closed-loop control, meeting the process requirements of different plastic molds. It can store multiple mold recipes locally and support offline recipe import and export through matching memory card adapter modules.

It is equipped with multiple communication expansion interfaces, supporting serial, CAN bus and Ethernet to connect operator panels, distributed field stations and upper production management systems. Engineers can download control programs, configure module addresses, adjust closed-loop gain parameters and check historical fault logs via KEBA engineering software. Built-in watchdog and power monitoring circuit continuously check backplane communication data and internal temperature. When communication timeout, signal verification error or over-temperature fault is detected, it will trigger safety stop and alarm output to protect molds and mechanical structures. The circuit board adopts conformal coating treatment, with good vibration resistance and EMC performance, adapting to dusty and oil mist workshop environment.

It adopts standard plug-in rack installation structure, matched with Kemro K2-200 / K2-400 backplane rack. This model has been discontinued by KEBA factory, and it is mainly circulated as maintenance spare part for legacy ENGEL injection molding machines. After safe power-off, technicians can replace the faulty CPU module independently without replacing the whole rack and modifying the machine wiring.
