KEBA BL250/B is a rack base backplane module for KEBA Kemro K2-200 control system, widely used on ENGEL hydraulic injection molding machines. It serves as the core carrier for CPU, I/O boards, hydraulic regulation modules and communication adapters, distributing the proprietary Kemro bus signal and stable power supply to each slot of the control rack. Compared with BL210, this BL250/B version supports more expansion slots and stronger load capacity, suitable for injection machines with multi-zone temperature control and multi-axis hydraulic closed-loop regulation.

This module transmits real-time command signals issued by the main CPU to each plug-in functional board, and collects feedback data from sensors, limit switches and valve regulation modules back to the controller, completing the whole sequence control of clamping, injection, holding pressure, plasticizing and ejection. The internal wiring of the backplane separates signal lines and power lines to reduce electromagnetic crosstalk generated by hydraulic pumps and solenoid valves. It supports automatic module address identification and hardware handshake verification when the rack is powered on.

It carries built-in power monitoring and bus frame diagnosis circuit. When backplane undervoltage, short-circuit, loose module communication or signal error is detected, it will feed back alarm signals to the main controller and trigger safety stop instructions to prevent abnormal action of the injection axes and protect molds and mechanical structures. The circuit board adopts conformal coating treatment, with excellent vibration resistance and EMC performance, adapting to the dusty and oil mist workshop environment of plastic molding workshops.

It adopts standard cabinet rack plug-in installation structure, specially matched with Kemro K2-200 series housing. This model has been discontinued by KEBA factory, and it is mainly circulated as maintenance spare part for legacy ENGEL injection molding machines. Single board replacement can be carried out after safe power-off without replacing the whole rack and modifying the original wiring of the machine.
