It is responsible for real-time collection of barrel and nozzle temperature signals and closed-loop heating regulation, which is the core control hardware to keep plastic melt temperature stable and ensure consistent molding quality.

This module connects to the main KEBA CPU through the proprietary Kemro backplane bus. It receives temperature setpoint commands from the controller, collects feedback signals from K-type thermocouple sensors installed on the plasticizing barrel, nozzle and hot runner manifold. It calculates the temperature deviation dynamically, outputs PWM drive signals to the AC heating contactors or solid state relays, and automatically adjusts heating power to prevent overheating and material decomposition. It supports independent parameter setting for each heating zone, including temperature limit, hysteresis and alarm threshold.

It is equipped with multi-channel thermocouple acquisition circuits and built-in cold junction compensation function to reduce measurement drift. The front panel is equipped with status indicator lights for each heating zone, which can directly display heating output state and fault status. Technicians can check temperature curve, zone status and fault records via KEBA engineering software, and back up heating parameters for mold switching and spare replacement. It carries continuous signal validity monitoring. Once thermocouple open circuit, short circuit or overtemperature is detected, it will cut off the heating output and send alarm feedback to the HMI to protect the barrel and mold.
