TRICONEX AO2481 is an 8-channel TMR analog output module built for Triconex safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety module receives control instructions from the safety controller and converts digital commands into stable 4-20mA analog output signals, sending the signals to field control valves and regulating actuators to adjust process parameters. The module adopts triple modular redundant 2-out-of-3 voting architecture, which can maintain normal analog output operation when one redundant channel fails, eliminating single point failure risk in safety control loops. It integrates continuous channel self-diagnosis, capable of detecting open circuit, short circuit and signal deviation, and uploading fault alarm information to the safety controller in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system, reducing system downtime. It cooperates with Tricon main chassis, analog output termination panels and matched shielded cable assemblies.
