TRICONEX DO2401 is a 16-channel TMR digital output module designed for Triconex safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety module receives safety interlock commands from the Tricon safety controller, converts digital logic signals into field drive signals, and transmits stable output signals to solenoid valves, trip relays and alarm actuators. The module adopts triple modular redundant 2-out-of-3 voting architecture, which can maintain normal output operation when one internal redundant channel fails, eliminating single point failure risk for safety control loops. Each channel is equipped with built-in over-current and short-circuit protection, and continuous self-diagnosis function can detect circuit faults and upload alarm information to the safety controller in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system, reducing system downtime. It cooperates with Tricon main chassis, digital output termination panels and matched shielded cable assemblies.
