TRICONEX DO6603 is a 16-channel TMR digital output module designed for Triconex safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety module receives safety interlock control commands from the Tricon controller, converts digital logic signals into field drive signals, and sends output signals to solenoid valves, trip relays and alarm actuators. The module adopts triple modular redundant 2-out-of-3 voting architecture, which can maintain normal output operation when one internal channel fails and eliminate single point failure risk. It supports pulse and PWM adjustable output modes, pulse width and period can be flexibly configured to meet different actuator driving requirements. Each channel has independent over-current and short-circuit protection, continuous self-diagnosis function can detect circuit fault status and upload alarm information to the safety controller in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system, reducing system downtime. It cooperates with Tricon main chassis, digital output termination panels and matched shielded cable assemblies.
