Product Details:
TRICONEX DO3401 is a high-density TMR digital output module developed for Triconex safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety module receives safety interlock commands from the Tricon safety controller, converts digital logic signals into 24VDC field drive signals, and transmits stable output signals to solenoid valves, trip relays and alarm actuators. The module adopts triple modular redundant 2-out-of-3 voting architecture, which can maintain normal output operation when one internal redundant channel fails, eliminating single point failure risk for safety control loops. Each channel is equipped with self-limiting current design and short-circuit protection, and supports force-to-value diagnostic test to verify the integrity of output circuit. Continuous channel self-diagnosis function can detect loss of field power, short circuit and circuit fault, and upload fault alarm information to the safety controller in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system, reducing system downtime. It cooperates with Tricon main chassis, digital output termination panels and matched shielded cable assemblies. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX DO3401 digital output module undertakes safety trip and alarm control work for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection and burner management safety interlock systems.
