TRICONEX MP2101 is a high-reliability main processor baseplate developed for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety baseplate serves as the carrier and signal backplane for the processor modules, supporting three independent processor boards to run 2-out-of-3 voting safety logic, providing stable internal bus communication for the whole safety rack. It adopts triple modular redundant design, which can continue normal system operation when one redundant channel fails and eliminate single point failure risk. The baseplate provides reliable slot connection for processor modules, I/O modules and communication modules, realizing high-speed data transmission between different modules inside the rack. It supports hot swap operation of modules, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system, minimizing system downtime. Integrated continuous self-diagnosis circuit monitors backplane signal integrity and connection status, and uploads fault alarm information to the safety controller in real time. It cooperates with Tricon processor modules, I/O modules and shielded cable assemblies. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX MP2101 main processor baseplate provides stable hardware platform support for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection and burner management safety interlock systems.
