TRICONEX AI3351 is a high-density 32-point TMR analog input module developed for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety module receives 4-20mA analog current signals from field pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters, converts continuous analog field signals into digital data and transmits the processed data to the safety controller for safety interlock logic judgment. The module adopts triple modular redundant architecture following Tricon 2-out-of-3 voting safety principle, which can maintain normal signal collection when one redundant channel fails and remove single point failure risk. It supports continuous built-in self-diagnosis for each channel, capable of detecting open circuit, short circuit and signal deviation, and uploading fault alarm information to the controller in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance staff can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system, minimizing system downtime. It works with Tricon main chassis, analog termination panels and matched shielded cable assemblies. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX AI3351 analog input module undertakes high-density analog signal collection work for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas detection and burner management safety interlock systems.
