TRICONEX 2700 is a low density chassis interface module built with triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety module integrates 8 analog input channels and 16 digital input channels, collecting 24VDC discrete switch signals and 0-5V / 0-10VDC voltage signals from field sensors, limit switches and transmitters, then converting these field signals into digital data and transmitting to the Tricon main controller. The Tricon low density chassis interface module adopts 1500V galvanic isolation design to suppress ground loop noise and electromagnetic interference from field wiring. It runs continuous built-in self-diagnostics to detect open circuit, short circuit and internal hardware faults, and automatically sends fault alarm messages to the Tricon engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty unit online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module health status and each channel signal state for fast on-site inspection and troubleshooting. It adopts 2-out-of-3 voting logic to eliminate single point of failure and fully meets SIL3 safety integrity level requirements. It can be installed in standard Tricon low density rack and cooperates with Tricon processor and other I/O modules. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 2700 chassis interface module is used for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas monitoring and burner management safety control systems.
