TRICONEX 2651 also known as DO2651 is a high integrity digital output module built with triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module receives safety logic commands from the Tricon main controller and converts digital signals into 24VDC switch output signals to control solenoid valves, safety relays and emergency shutdown actuators. The Tricon high integrity digital output module adopts 8 isolated high-side output channels, each channel equipped with comprehensive circuit diagnostics. It can continuously detect open circuit, short circuit, load loss and internal hardware faults, and transmit fault alarm information to the Tricon engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module PASS, FAULT and each channel output status for fast on-site inspection and troubleshooting. It adopts 2-out-of-3 voting logic to eliminate single point of failure and fully meets SIL3 safety integrity level requirements. It can be installed in standard Tricon rack and cooperates with Tricon processor and other I/O modules. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 2651 digital output module executes safety interlock actions for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas protection and burner management systems.
