TRICONEX 2402 is the digital output baseplate designed for Triconex Trident safety instrumented systems (SIS). This SIS safety baseplate is matched with Trident DO3401 digital output module, providing backplane connection, field wiring terminal interface and signal distribution for the digital output module. The Trident digital output baseplate supports 16-channel field wiring connection, and adopts current-limited circuit design, suitable for low-power safety load connection. It realizes reliable electrical connection between the backplane bus of Trident rack and field safety actuators, and supports channel loop monitoring function to detect load status. The baseplate continuously transmits field circuit status information to the paired DO module, and cooperates with the module hardware diagnostics to identify open circuit and short circuit faults of field wiring. It supports hot swap maintenance of the matched digital output module, maintenance personnel can replace the I/O module online without shutting down the whole safety system. It is installed in the standard Trident rack slot, and can be equipped with external relay terminal panel according to project requirements. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 2402 baseplate serves as the wiring and backplane carrier for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas protection and burner management safety interlock loops.
