TRICONEX 2351 also known as AI2351 is an 8-channel TMR analog input module adopting triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module captures standard 4-20mA analog current signals from field pressure, temperature, flow and level transmitters, and converts analog loop signals into digital data for the Tricon main controller. The Tricon analog input module supports 2~22mA extended signal range, 12-bit high resolution and built-in HART signal compatibility, allowing users to read transmitter diagnostic information on the same signal loop. Each channel has isolated circuit design to suppress ground loop noise and electromagnetic interference from field wiring. Continuous built-in channel diagnostics can detect open circuit, short circuit, wire breakage and hardware faults, and upload fault alarms to the Tricon engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module health status and each channel signal state for fast on-site troubleshooting. It adopts 2-out-of-3 voting logic to eliminate single point of failure and fully meets SIL3 safety integrity level requirements. It can be installed in standard Tricon rack and cooperates with Tricon processor and other I/O modules. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 2351 analog input module is used for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas monitoring and other safety-critical control systems.
