The GE IS420UCSBH1A is a high-performance UCSB Controller Module developed for GE Speedtronic Mark VIe, EX2100e and LS2100e distributed turbine control systems. This industrial control spare part acts as the main standalone processing unit of the Mark VIe control rack. As a reliable Turbine Control Module, it adopts a 600MHz Intel EP80579 industrial processor with QNX Neutrino real-time operating system. It runs core turbine control logic, sequence control, overspeed protection and generator excitation regulation algorithms. It communicates with all I/O packs through high-speed redundant IONet Ethernet, exchanges real-time operational data with HMI and historian systems, and handles event logging, alarm management and system diagnostic tasks.

The GE IS420UCSBH1A UCSB Controller Module adopts fanless and battery-free compact single module design, using conformal coated PCB to resist dust, moisture and vibration in harsh power plant environments. It is equipped with redundant IONet Ethernet ports and RS232 service port for configuration and debugging. Front panel LED indicators show module active status, network link and hardware fault alarms. The module supports simplex, dual and TMR redundant system architectures and baseplate mounting inside Mark VIe control cabinet.
