GE IC697CPX928-FE is a high-performance single-slot CPU module with integrated Ethernet function for GE Fanuc Series 90-70 PLC platform. This PLC controller module adopts 96MHz 80486DX4 32-bit microprocessor with built-in floating-point calculation capability, and it only takes 0.4 microseconds to execute each Boolean instruction, providing fast logic scanning and complex process algorithm operation. The Series 90-70 CPU module is equipped with 6MB battery-backed RAM and 256KB non-volatile flash memory. The onboard lithium battery can retain user programs and process data for up to 6 months after power failure. It comes with three serial communication ports, including one RS232 port and two RS485 ports, supporting SNP slave protocol. The suffix FE represents integrated Ethernet interface, which can realize direct network connection with HMI, SCADA and other host systems. The module supports up to 12K mixed discrete I/O points and 8K analog I/O points, compatible with all IC697 series I/O modules, coprocessor modules and communication modules. Seven LED status indicators on the front panel show run, fault and communication status, helping engineers diagnose system faults quickly.
