Product Details:
GE IC698CRE040 is a high-performance redundant CPU module for GE Fanuc PACSystems RX7i automation platform. This PACSystems controller module adopts 1.8GHz Pentium-M processor, equipped with 64MB battery-backed RAM and 64MB non-volatile flash memory to store user programs and production data. The RX7i CPU module supports hot standby redundancy function, when matched with IC698RMX016 memory exchange module, it can realize seamless switchover between primary and standby CPUs to avoid system shutdown during CPU failure. It comes with dual Ethernet ports and three serial communication ports including RS232 and RS485 interfaces, supporting Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, SNP and EGD protocols for data communication with HMI, DCS and SCADA systems. Based on VME64 backplane architecture, this controller module can connect various I/O modules and special function modules to build large-scale distributed control systems. It supports multiple programming languages such as ladder diagram, structured text and function block diagram, and can be programmed by Proficy Machine Edition software. Widely used in power plants, petrochemical, heavy industry and large manufacturing fields, this PACSystems controller module delivers reliable real-time control for critical industrial processes.
