GE IC697PWR748D is a 90W rack mount power supply module developed for GE Fanuc Series 90-70 PLC platform. This PLC power module is installed in the leftmost slot of the Series 90-70 rack, connected to the 48-pin backplane connector. It converts 48VDC input into +5VDC, +12VDC and -12VDC regulated power, and transmits logic sequencing signals to all CPU, I/O and communication modules on the PLC backplane. The Series 90-70 power supply module supports single rack operation, and it can also supply power to a second expansion rack via IC697CBL700 cable under allowable load. It provides electronic overcurrent and short-circuit protection on the +5VDC bus, automatically limiting output current to prevent damage to backplane modules during circuit faults. The module can sustain 10ms power ride-through under full load when temporary input power loss occurs, avoiding unexpected PLC shutdown. Front panel status LEDs help technicians quickly check power working status and fault diagnosis. Adopting slide-in plug-in structure, this PLC power module is easy to install and replace during system maintenance.
