The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/60 temperature monitor module is a six-channel rack mount monitor designed for the Bently Nevada 3500 machinery protection system. This RTD TC Monitor accepts signals from both resistance temperature detectors (RTD) and thermocouples (TC), and supports temperature measurement as well as differential temperature calculation. The bearing temperature monitoring module is widely used to measure bearing metal temperature, motor stator temperature and other critical process temperatures for rotating machinery. Users can set independent alert and danger alarm thresholds for each channel through rack configuration software. When the measured temperature exceeds the preset value, the module will send alarm signals to relay modules in the rack to trigger protection interlock. It features front panel LED indicators to show module health status and channel alarm information. The module supports hot swapping without stopping the whole machinery protection system, and built-in self-diagnosis continuously detects sensor open circuit, short circuit and module faults. Different from 3500/61, this 3500/60 version does not come with 4-20mA recorder outputs. It can be equipped with channel-to-channel isolation options and internal barrier versions for hazardous area applications. It is widely applied in steam turbines, centrifugal compressors, generators and pumps in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries to prevent bearing overheating and mechanical damage.
