The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/60 163179-01 six-channel temperature monitor module is the main processing board for the Bently Nevada 3500 machinery protection rack system. This bearing temperature monitoring module accepts signals from RTD resistance temperature detectors and TC thermocouples, supporting mixed sensor configuration on different channels. The 6 Channel Temp Module measures bearing metal temperature, stator winding temperature and differential temperature for turbomachinery, complying with API 670 industry standard. Users can download configuration and set independent alert and danger temperature thresholds for each channel via dedicated rack software. When temperature exceeds preset limits, the module sends alarm signals to rack relay modules for safety interlock. It does not have built-in 4-20mA recorder outputs, which is the main difference compared with 3500/61 version. Front panel LED indicators display module health status, communication activity and bypass state. The module supports hot swapping without interrupting the machinery protection safety loop. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis function detects sensor open circuit, short circuit and hardware faults automatically. TC isolated type can provide 250VDC channel-to-channel isolation for strong interference industrial sites. It can map temperature data to communication modules for remote reading by DCS and PLC systems. It is widely used in power generation, petrochemical and metallurgy industries, matched with steam turbines, gas turbines and centrifugal compressors for bearing temperature supervision of rotating machinery TSI protection system.
