The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/45 position monitor module is a four-channel full-height monitoring module designed for the Bently Nevada 3500 machinery protection rack system. This axial displacement monitoring module accepts signals from proximity transducers, RPT rotary position transducers, AC/DC LVDT and rotary potentiometers, and supports multiple position measurement types. Users can configure channel functions in pairs via rack configuration software. It can measure bearing axial thrust position, differential expansion, case expansion and valve position for turbomachinery. Each channel supports programmable alert and danger alarm thresholds. When the measured displacement exceeds the preset limit, the module sends alarm signals to rack relay modules to trigger safety interlock. It is equipped with buffered transducer output signals for waveform data acquisition and orbit analysis. Front panel LED indicators display module operating status, alarm state and bypass status. The module supports hot swapping without interrupting the machinery protection safety loop. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis function detects sensor open circuit, short circuit and module hardware faults. It complies with API 670 standard and SIL2 safety certification.
