The BENTLY NEVADA 136188-02 Modbus I/O Module is an upgraded data interface module for Bently Nevada 3500 machinery protection rack system, equipped with Ethernet and RS485 serial communication ports. This RS485 Communication module collects real-time vibration, shaft displacement, temperature measurement data and rack alarm status from all monitor modules through the rack backplane. It converts internal rack data into standard Modbus TCP and Modbus RTU signals, allowing seamless connection between the 3500 TSI system and DCS, PLC, SCADA and host monitoring platforms. Compared with 136188-01 version, this unit adopts RS485 serial interface for longer-distance field data transmission and better anti-interference performance in noisy industrial environments. Users can configure Modbus register mapping to select required monitoring points for remote data reading. The module supports hot swapping without shutting down the machinery protection loop. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis function checks module health and communication link status, and faults are indicated by front panel LED lights. It is widely used in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries, applied to steam turbines, compressors, generators and pumps to realize remote data acquisition and equipment condition monitoring.
