The BENTLY NEVADA 125760-01 rack interface module, also known as RIM module or data manager, is a full-height core communication and management component for the Bently Nevada 3500 machinery protection rack system. This rack interface module must be installed in slot 1 of the 3500 rack, acting as the central coordinator that manages all internal rack communication and exchanges data between all installed monitor modules and external communication processors. The data manager supports TDXnet, TDIX and DDIX communication protocols, equipped with front panel RS232 configuration port and RS422 data interface for connecting external host monitoring systems. It undertakes rack configuration downloading, real-time measurement data collection, alarm status collection and event log storage. Users can use dedicated configuration software to set up all modules in the 3500 rack through this RIM module. The module supports hot swapping without interrupting the machinery protection safety loop. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis function detects module hardware faults and communication link abnormalities, and status LED indicators provide on-site visual fault prompt. It is the mandatory core module for the 3500 rack to realize data export and remote configuration, widely used in steam turbines, compressors, generators and pumps in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries for rotating machinery protection and condition monitoring.
