The ProSoft RLX-OPC-SRV is legacy OPC DA server software designed exclusively for ProSoft RadioLinx frequency hopping radios and industrial hotspot Wi-Fi radios, which enables HMI, SCADA and OPC client software to read wireless diagnostic data of the radio network directly. It can collect real-time operating parameters including radio signal strength, packet error rate, link status, serial number, firmware version, throughput and fault counters from all connected RadioLinx radios, and expose these data points as standard OPC tags for upper monitoring systems. The software supports automatic radio discovery and manual radio adding, users can group radios by channel and site for convenient management of large point-to-multipoint wireless SCADA networks. It supports local OPC client access and remote OPC client connection over the industrial Ethernet, and provides data refresh configuration and exception reporting to reduce network load. This OPC server works with IH Browser and ControlScape tools, and it is compatible with most classic HMI software such as FactoryTalk View, Intouch and other OPC DA compatible platforms. It does not transmit PLC process I/O data, it focuses only on the health status of the wireless radio infrastructure, helping engineers locate weak signal, communication dropout and interference faults quickly. This software is discontinued and only used as spare legacy software for maintaining old RadioLinx wireless automation projects. It runs on Windows XP and early Windows operating systems, and requires stable network access to the RadioLinx radio network.

This software is installed on industrial Windows workstations, supporting OPC DA 2.05 specification. It consumes low system resources when running in background service mode, and supports tag logging for historical trend analysis of radio link quality. It provides built-in communication counters and error status tags for alarm configuration in SCADA systems. The software supports configuration file saving and backup, which can be imported again after system replacement to restore the radio list and tag mapping without reconfiguring all wireless nodes.

This RadioLinx OPC server software is widely used in oil and gas pipeline SCADA, remote water pumping station wireless systems, mining wireless instrument networks and factory AGV Wi-Fi monitoring projects. It realizes unified monitoring of the whole wireless radio network status in the central control room, avoiding on-site inspection for every remote radio unit. As a discontinued diagnostic software, the RLX-OPC-SRV provides standardized OPC interface for radio status monitoring, protects original RadioLinx wireless system and reduces the maintenance cost of legacy industrial wireless network.
