The ProSoft PLX82-EIP-PNC is a DIN-rail mounted dual galvanically isolated Ethernet gateway, designed to enable Rockwell EtherNet/IP controllers to act as a PROFINET IO controller and directly manage PROFINET RT field devices. It serves as a high-performance protocol bridge between Rockwell Logix platforms and Siemens PROFINET fieldbus systems, supporting real-time cyclic data exchange for production automation control. This gateway can connect and control up to 36 independent PROFINET RT devices, including remote IO modules, variable frequency drives, valve modules, HMIs and other PROFINET-compatible automation equipment. The two isolated Ethernet ports separate the EtherNet/IP control subnet and PROFINET field subnet, avoiding IP address conflicts and improving network security and stability without modifying existing device IP configurations. It is certified by ODVA and PROFINET v2 Class A, ensuring stable compatibility with mainstream multi-brand PROFINET field devices. This gateway adopts rugged metal housing for standard DIN rail installation. It is equipped with two 10/100Mbps shielded RJ45 Ethernet ports with 1500Vrms isolation, accepts 10VDC to 36VDC wide-range DC power supply with 24VDC nominal input, maximum current consumption is 610mA. LED indicators display power status, module fault, EtherNet/IP link and PROFINET bus activity for convenient on-site inspection. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 50°C, storage temperature ranges from -10°C to 70°C, relative humidity 5% to 95% non-condensing.
