The ProSoft PLX51-DL-232 is a DIN-rail mounted dedicated industrial data logger designed for unattended historical data recording from automation control devices, especially suitable for remote field sites with unstable or limited network communication. It supports multi-protocol data collection, including EtherNet/IP, DF1 serial, Modbus RTU serial and Modbus TCP, so it can connect Rockwell Logix PLC, legacy DF1 controllers and common Modbus transmitters, meters and drives without extra PC or historian server. The built-in solid-state non-volatile memory can store more than 16 million data records, each record carries high-precision timestamp with 50ms resolution, tag name, data type and value, which supports traceability of process data and fault playback. Two logging modes are optional: stop recording after memory full, or circular overwrite the oldest data when storage reaches the limit, users can select the mode according to on-site maintenance strategy. It integrates a built-in web server for real-time status viewing and diagnostic checking, and historical log files can be exported to CSV format through PLX50 Configuration Utility for offline analysis, report generation and predictive maintenance work. It also embeds DF1 packet capture function to help technicians debug serial DF1 communication networks efficiently. The logger runs independently of the host PLC scan cycle, data logging will not occupy controller computing resources or affect the normal running of production control logic. It provides complete diagnostic information including communication status, record count, storage usage and fault flags, which can be checked on local web page or configuration tool. Conformal coated version is optional for humid, dusty and corrosive industrial environments. This model is widely deployed in remote pumping stations, oil and gas skids, mobile equipment, water treatment and manufacturing process monitoring projects.

This logger adopts compact IP20 plastic housing for DIN rail installation. It is equipped with one 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port and one 2.5kV isolated RS232 terminal port, accepts 10VDC to 28VDC power supply, typical power consumption is 1.7W. LED indicators display power status, module activity, Ethernet link and serial communication status for convenient on-site inspection. The operating temperature range is -20°C to 70°C, storage temperature ranges from -40°C to 80°C, relative humidity 5% to 95% non-condensing. It complies with IEC EMC standards and has obtained UL/cUL Class 1 Div 2 and CE certifications. It supports remote configuration, firmware upgrade and configuration backup for long-term field maintenance.
