The ProSoft PLX35-NB2 is a DIN-rail mounted industrial network bridge designed for secure remote access to factory automation equipment via Belden Horizon cloud platform. It is equipped with two independent 10/100 Base-T Ethernet ports, one port connects to the local OT control network including PLC, HMI, drives and I/O modules, while the other port links to internet for cloud VPN connection. This bridge supports industrial VPN tunnel, file relay and remote packet capture functions, allowing authorized engineers to remotely program, debug, upload files and diagnose field devices without complicated router port forwarding configuration. It supports EtherNet/IP MSG instruction to locally enable or disable VPN connection on the control side, which helps users manage remote access permission directly from the PLC program and improves OT network security. The built-in SD card slot supports up to 32GB storage for configuration backup and log saving. It adopts industrial security protocols such as HTTPS and IPsec for encrypted transmission, effectively isolates OT network and public internet and prevents unauthorized access. The bridge works independently and will not interfere with the normal operation of the local control system, and it provides complete diagnostic information including VPN status, online duration, link counter and fault flags for monitoring on HMI or cloud dashboard. It has obtained UL/cUL Class 1 Div 2, ATEX Zone 2, CE safety certifications, and conformal coated version is optional for humid, dusty and corrosive industrial environments. This bridge adopts rugged extruded aluminum housing with DIN rail clip. It accepts 10VDC to 36VDC wide-range DC power supply with 24VDC nominal input, typical current consumption is 300mA at 24VDC, peak power below 6W. LED indicators display power status, module fault, LAN and WAN link activity and VPN tunnel status for convenient on-site inspection. The operating temperature range is -30°C to 70°C, storage temperature ranges from -40°C to 80°C, relative humidity 5% to 95% non-condensing. It complies with IEC 60068 shock and vibration standards, suitable for harsh factory and skid-mounted working conditions. It supports remote configuration, firmware upgrade and configuration backup through Belden Horizon cloud platform for long-term maintenance.
