The ProSoft ICX30-HWC is a RadioLinx industrial 3G cellular gateway built for remote industrial M2M and SCADA communication. It delivers secure wireless connectivity over global 3G GSM, WCDMA, HSPA+ and CDMA cellular networks, allowing engineers to remotely access, program and monitor PLCs, RTUs, DCS controllers and field instruments located at sites without wired network infrastructure. It integrates one Ethernet port and serial interface, supporting encapsulation for Modbus and DF1 protocols, and it functions as an EtherNet/IP Class 3 server to send diagnostic data to ControlLogix and CompactLogix controllers. It comes with built-in GPS module for location tracking, plus discrete and analog I/O terminals to capture local alarm signals. The gateway supports VPN tunnel for secure remote access, with downlink speed up to 14.4 Mbps and uplink speed up to 5.76 Mbps, which can support video streaming and large data transmission at remote stations.

This gateway is designed for DIN rail mounting inside control cabinets. It accepts 12 VDC to 24 VDC industrial power supply and has multiple LED status indicators for power, cellular signal, GPS lock, network link and fault warning. Users can complete APN setting, VPN configuration, port forwarding and diagnostic checking via embedded web browser page, and configuration files can be stored on microSD card for backup and quick recovery. It supports ProSoft discovery utility for easy device identification and IP assignment on local network. It adopts industrial-grade circuit design with reliable EMC protection against surge and electromagnetic interference, with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 55°C for stable continuous operation in harsh outdoor and field environments.

This cellular gateway is widely deployed in oil and gas remote well sites, water pumping stations, pipeline monitoring, tank farm SCADA, renewable energy sites and remote equipment maintenance projects. It removes the high cost of laying optical fiber or Ethernet cables for isolated industrial locations. As a discontinued legacy 3G cellular gateway, the ICX30-HWC is mainly supplied as spare replacement parts for existing running remote monitoring systems. It maintains stable cellular data transmission and secure remote access, helping users keep the original remote control architecture without major reconstruction.
