The ProSoft i-View is a legacy mobile HMI and SCADA application designed for iOS mobile devices, turning iPhone and iPad into portable operation terminals for industrial control systems. It supports wireless connection via Wi-Fi or cellular network to remotely monitor and control PLC and PAC tags, helping field engineers and managers check process data without staying beside fixed HMI panels. Users can define tags as buttons, switches, sliders, bar graphs and input boxes, arrange these tags into different display pages for quick classification and browsing. This mobile app supports simultaneous connections to multiple PLC and RTU devices, and it can read and write real-time process variables, set user accounts with multi-level access authority and password protection to prevent unauthorized modification of control parameters. It integrates barcode and QR code scanning function, which can capture codes through the camera and send the scanned data to designated PLC tags for production tracking and material management. The software adopts optimized communication engine to reduce network traffic when transmitting large amounts of tag data, and supports variable configuration file import from spreadsheet documents to simplify project setup. It can work with ProSoft wireless radio modules and protocol gateways, and it is compatible with EtherNet/IP and other mainstream industrial protocols. This application is discontinued and no longer updated, it is only used as spare legacy software for old mobile remote monitoring projects.
