The ProSoft BM-xx00-RM1K is a factory-paired wireless I/O radio kit designed as a direct replacement for hardwired field I/O cables in industrial sites. It provides simple bidirectional signal transmission between two remote I/O stations without complicated programming or protocol configuration. The series covers multiple ISM band variants including 868 MHz, 900 MHz and 2.4 GHz models, which are license-free for industrial deployment. The radio unit replicates input signals on one end to corresponding output points on the paired remote side, supporting both discrete digital signals and analog 4-20mA or 0-10V signals. Each radio pair can work with up to 16 compatible I/O expansion modules, offering flexible capacity for distributed monitoring and control tasks. The 900 MHz version supports a transmission distance up to 4 miles, while 868 MHz and 2.4 GHz versions reach up to 1 mile under proper line-of-sight conditions.

This radio kit adopts DIN rail mounting for cabinet installation. It runs on 24 VDC industrial power supply and is fitted with front LED indicators for power status, radio link activity and fault alarm, which helps technicians quickly judge wireless connection quality and troubleshoot signal loss during commissioning and maintenance. The radios are pre-paired at the factory, so users only need to complete field wiring without extra software configuration or address setting. It supports hot-swappable I/O modules and DataRail backplane connection for fast expansion. It has strong EMC performance to resist electromagnetic interference in factory yards, water plants and remote pumping stations, with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 55°C for stable continuous long-term operation.

This wireless I/O radio kit is widely used in remote pumping control, tank farm monitoring, conveyor systems, wastewater treatment, material handling and sites where cable laying is expensive or difficult.
