Product Details

The ProSoft AN-X-AMX4 is an industrial migration gateway designed for Reliance AutoMax legacy control systems, realizing bidirectional data exchange between EtherNet/IP and AutoMax DCSNet or AutoMax Remote I/O networks. It serves as a communication bridge that allows Rockwell ControlLogix and other EtherNet/IP PACs to read and write data from AutoMax controllers, remote I/O racks and field devices. It supports multiple working modes including DCSNet bridge mode, AMXRIO scanner mode and network capture mode, which can be switched to meet different renovation and debugging requirements. It is equipped with one 10/100Mbps RJ45 Ethernet port for EtherNet/IP communication and a dedicated AutoMax bus interface, supporting standard AutoMax bus communication rates and node addressing. It can automatically generate tag files for Logix controllers, greatly reducing the workload of manual configuration.

This gateway adopts DIN rail mounting for installation inside control cabinets. It supports 12VDC to 24VDC wide-range DC power supply and is equipped with front LED indicators for power, Ethernet link, AutoMax bus activity and fault status, which helps technicians quickly locate communication faults during commissioning and maintenance. The built-in web configuration page supports parameter setting, data monitoring, firmware upgrade and configuration backup, and no extra dedicated configuration software is required. It provides comprehensive network diagnosis functions, including bus error statistics, real-time data view and event recording. It has excellent EMC performance to adapt to harsh industrial electromagnetic environments, with an operating temperature range of 0°C to 50°C for stable long-term continuous operation.

This migration gateway is widely used in Reliance AutoMax DCS system upgrade, phased PLC migration projects, production line reconstruction and spare replacement projects. It allows users to retain the original AutoMax I/O modules and field wiring, and gradually migrate to the Rockwell EtherNet/IP platform without long-time full-system shutdown. As a discontinued legacy communication gateway, the AN-X-AMX4 is mainly supplied as spare replacement parts for running automation systems. It maintains stable bus scanning and data transmission, preserves the original field hardware and wiring, and effectively reduces renovation cost and production downtime.
