The ProSoft 5105-103M-PDPS is a ProLinx series standalone protocol gateway, which realizes bidirectional data conversion between IEC 60870-5-103 master protocol and PROFIBUS DP slave protocol. It serves as a communication bridge for substation and industrial automation, connecting IEC 103 protection relays and field devices to PROFIBUS DP master controllers. The gateway is equipped with one configurable serial port for IEC 103 bus communication and a 9-pin D-SUB PROFIBUS DP slave port, supporting standard PROFIBUS V0 slave data exchange and compatible with mainstream PROFIBUS master hosts. It supports flexible data mapping for analog measurement values, binary status signals, fault alarms and counter data, and users can complete point configuration, polling parameter setting and diagnosis via ProSoft Configuration Builder software.

This gateway adopts DIN rail mounting design for installation inside control cabinets. It runs on 24 VDC industrial power supply and comes with multiple LED status indicators for power, transmit, receive and fault diagnosis, which helps technicians quickly locate communication faults during commissioning and maintenance. It has excellent EMC performance to adapt to harsh electromagnetic interference environments in power substations and factory control rooms. The gateway supports comprehensive diagnostic functions, which can monitor link status, communication error codes and data transmission quality in real time. Its operating temperature range is 0°C to 55°C, stable for continuous long-term operation in industrial control environments.

This protocol gateway is widely used in power substation automation, relay protection system integration, water treatment monitoring, energy management and legacy automation system renovation projects.
