The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor Module is a full-height four-channel monitor module designed for the Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery protection rack system. It works cooperatively with matched rear I/O terminal boards, receiving and processing signals from eddy current proximity probes such as 3300 XL series sensors. The module supports channel-pair configuration through dedicated rack configuration software, which means channels 1 and 2 can be set for one measurement function while channels 3 and 4 run another function independently. It can measure radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, shaft eccentricity and REBAM rolling bearing vibration parameters. Users can set independent Alert and Danger alarm thresholds for each measurement channel. Once the monitored mechanical parameters exceed the preset limit values, the module will send alarm signals to the relay modules on the rack backplane to trigger local alarm output or safety interlock shutdown action, protecting rotating equipment from severe damage. It is equipped with buffered transducer signal output, which can output raw sensor signals for waveform, orbit and spectrum analysis to assist maintenance engineers in fault diagnosis. The module supports hot swapping under normal rack operation, and replacement work will not interrupt the machinery protection safety loop. Built-in continuous self-diagnosis function can automatically detect sensor open circuit, short circuit and internal hardware faults, and upload fault event information to the rack system. This module complies with API 670 industry standard and SIL2 safety certification, and multiple I/O board options are available including standard internal termination, external termination and intrinsically safe barrier versions for hazardous area installation. Front panel LED indicators display module OK status, communication activity and channel bypass state clearly for on-site inspection. It is widely applied in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries, matched with steam turbines, gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, providing reliable displacement and vibration online monitoring and safety protection for critical rotating machinery.
