The BENTLY NEVADA 3500/42-01-00 Proximitor seismic monitor module is a full-height 4-channel plug-in card for Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery protection system. The suffix -01 stands for internal termination I/O version, -00 indicates no special agency certification, suitable for ordinary control room environments. This module can be installed in any free slot of the 3500 rack. It supports multiple sensor types including proximity probes, velocity sensors and accelerometers. Each channel can be independently configured via 3500 rack configuration software to measure radial vibration, thrust position, differential expansion, eccentricity, velocity and acceleration. It provides -24Vdc transducer excitation for proximity probes, and each channel has 4-20mA analog recorder output for connecting to DCS system. Engineers can set Alert and Danger alarm thresholds for each channel. When the measured value exceeds the preset threshold, the module sends alarm signals to rack relay modules to trigger machinery alarm or shutdown interlock. Front panel LED indicators display module OK status, bypass state and individual channel alarm status for routine on-site inspection. Built-in self-diagnosis function can detect probe open circuit, short circuit and signal loss faults. The module supports hot swapping during normal rack operation, maintenance staff can replace the module without shutting down the whole TSI system. It complies with API 670 turbomachinery monitoring standard, widely applied in petrochemical, power generation and metallurgy industries, matched with steam turbines, gas turbines and centrifugal compressors, used for rotating machinery vibration, displacement and acceleration protection monitoring.
