ATLAS COPCO TC-4000-P-PN-ESM belongs to the PowerMACS 4000 multi-spindle tightening control platform. It is an enhanced main controller fitted with Profinet interface and upgraded managed Ethernet switch. PN represents Profinet fieldbus, and ESM stands for enhanced managed switch module, supporting advanced network management, port monitoring and network diagnostic functions compared with the standard ES variant. The front panel integrates a text display and operation buttons, allowing field operators to view IP settings, network diagnostics, alarm information and tightening result records directly on site. Users can create tightening sequences, adjust torque and angle parameters, inspect tightening curves, export historical fastening records and run fault diagnosis through ToolsTalk PowerMACS configuration software. This controller can synchronously drive multiple Atlas Copco QST tightening spindles, designed for high-volume multi-point fixtured fastening stations requiring stable and manageable industrial network. It adopts the proven Dynatork tightening algorithm to maintain consistent torque output, captures complete tightening curves and archives all fastening data to realize full process traceability. Redundant emergency stop safety circuits are embedded inside to satisfy strict safety specifications for automated assembly lines. It supports high-speed real-time data exchange with upper PLC via Profinet, and reserves isolated digital I/O terminals for signal handshake with peripheral automation devices. It is widely deployed on multi-axis fastening lines that demand advanced managed Ethernet networking and Profinet communication.
