TRICONEX 3701 is a high-density TMR analog input module built with triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module features 32 differential DC-coupled input channels, designed to collect 0~10VDC analog voltage signals from field pressure, temperature and level transmitters, then convert analog sensor signals into digital data and transmit to the Tricon main controller. The Tricon analog input module adopts 12-bit signal resolution with accuracy less than 0.15% full scale within 0℃ to 60℃, and the full module scan cycle is 55ms. It uses differential input design to suppress common-mode noise for stable signal acquisition, without per-channel galvanic isolation. Continuous built-in channel diagnostics can detect open circuit, short circuit, signal overrange and internal hardware faults, and upload fault alarm messages to the Tricon engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module PASS, FAULT and each channel signal state for fast on-site inspection and troubleshooting. It adopts 2-out-of-3 voting logic to eliminate single point of failure and fully meets SIL3 safety integrity level requirements. It can be installed in standard Tricon rack and cooperates with Tricon processor and other I/O modules.
