TRICONEX 3624 also known as SDO3624 is a 16-channel supervised digital output module built with triple modular redundancy (TMR) architecture for Triconex Tricon safety instrumented systems (SIS). This TMR safety I/O module receives safety logic commands from the Tricon main controller and converts digital signals into 24VDC output signals to drive solenoid valves, safety relays and emergency shutdown actuators. The Tricon supervised digital output module features continuous line supervision on each channel. It can detect open circuit, short circuit and load loss even when the output is off, ensuring the integrity of safety field wiring. It adopts channel galvanic isolation design to suppress ground loop noise and electromagnetic interference from field wiring. Continuous built-in channel diagnostics upload fault alarm messages to the Tricon engineering workstation in real time. The module supports hot swap operation, maintenance personnel can replace the faulty module online without shutting down the whole safety system. Front panel LED indicators display module PASS, FAULT and each channel load status for fast on-site inspection and troubleshooting. It adopts 2-out-of-3 voting logic to eliminate single point of failure and fully meets SIL3 safety integrity level requirements. It can be installed in standard Tricon rack and cooperates with Tricon processor and other I/O modules. Widely applied in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical and power industries, this TRICONEX 3624 supervised digital output module executes safety interlock actions for ESD emergency shutdown, fire and gas protection and burner management systems.
