Honeywell 6216700 is a rack fan assembly module designed for Honeywell IPC 620 and IPC 621 control platform,its main purpose is stable rack cooling and real-time temperature control for the control chassis loaded with processor and I/O modules. This fan unit is equipped with dual cooling fans and built-in temperature detection circuit,continuously exhausting hot air accumulated inside the rack to maintain stable operating temperature for core processor,analog and digital I/O modules. It monitors fan rotation speed and internal cabinet temperature in real time,feeding fan fault,stall alarm and over-temperature flag signals back to the main processor for event recording and early warning. It adopts shock absorption structure to reduce fan vibration transfer to the backplane and adjacent modules,avoiding loose contact and signal instability caused by long-term mechanical vibration. It is designed as a plug-in rack slot structure,can be installed in the spare slot of IPC 620 rack to achieve centralized forced air cooling for the whole set of control hardware.
