Honeywell 51303932476 (51303932-476, MC-TSIM12) is the conformal coated Modbus serial FTA termination assembly for Honeywell Experion PKS serial interface IOP modules. It is the matching field termination board for MU-TSIM12 and MU-TSIM14 communication modules, providing physical wiring access, signal isolation and surge protection for Modbus RTU and general serial communication links. This FTA supports both RS232 and RS485 physical interfaces, and can be configured for Modbus RTU or Modbus ASCII protocol according to the engineering requirements. It supports multi-drop RS485 bus topology, allowing up to 32 Modbus slave instruments to be connected on one single bus cable, which greatly reduces field cable quantity and wiring workload for factory automation projects. The circuit board adopts conformal coating treatment, forming a protective layer to resist moisture, salt mist and corrosive vapor in harsh working environments such as offshore platforms and chemical plants, preventing copper trace oxidation, leakage and short circuit and extending the service cycle of the termination board.
