It serves as the signal isolation and wiring terminal interface between the serial communication module and field serial instruments, undertaking surge protection, signal filtering and terminal distribution work for RS232, RS422 and RS485 serial signals. This FTA board separates the fragile internal circuit of the communication IOP card from harsh field wiring environment, blocking transient surge, common-mode interference and reverse voltage impact transmitted through field cables, so as to effectively avoid damage to the expensive IOP module caused by lightning induction, power grid fluctuation and ground potential difference.
