It acts as the industrial Ethernet gateway between the PKS control backplane and field Modbus TCP slave devices, converting Modbus TCP protocol data into internal bus data recognized by the C300 controller. It can connect a wide range of Modbus TCP compatible equipment, including intelligent power meters, online process analyzers, remote I/O units, frequency converters and auxiliary PLC subsystems, which are widely deployed in modern automation plants adopting TCP Ethernet communication architecture.
