Honeywell 6211100 is an 8-point AC/DC digital input module designed for Honeywell IPC 620 and IPC 621 control platform,its main purpose is reliable status detection and contact monitoring for field discrete equipment. This digital input module accepts 115VAC or 115VDC selectable input signals from motor auxiliary contacts,limit switches,equipment interlock contacts and relay status feedback points. It converts the presence or absence of field voltage signals into discrete digital data for the main processor,supplying condition signals for interlock judgment,sequence control and equipment alarm recording. It adopts built-in isolation protection to separate the high-voltage field circuit and the low-voltage control backplane bus,preventing surge voltage and ground loop interference from damaging the control rack and causing misjudgment of control logic. It scans each channel periodically and feeds back real-time contact status and diagnostic information to the controller.
